In Luke 10:1-20 we see an order in Which Christ uses to send the 72.

1. He calls them to himself.
   The calling of God is first to Himself before it is to the world.

He called the 72 to himself first, a form of fellowship, and abiding. So that by the time they were sent, they would have been with God enough to carry Him and His will and desire.

Don’t just go. Some have in this way, sent themselves, without God’s approval.
