John 1:1-3,14
[1]IN THE beginning [before all time] was the Word (Christ), and the Word was with God, and the Word was God Himself. [Isa. 9:6.]
[2]He was present originally with God.
[3]All things were made and came into existence through Him; and without Him was not even one thing made that has come into being.
[14]And the Word (Christ) became flesh (human, incarnate) and tabernacled (fixed His tent of flesh, lived awhile) among us; and we [actually] saw His glory (His honor, His majesty), such glory as an only begotten son receives from his father, full of grace (favor, loving-kindness) and truth. [Isa. 40:5.]
The difference between the scripture and the word is that: The Scripture is what is written down. The written down text is scriptures.
The Word is Scripture in action.
The Word is Christ.
The Scriptures can only become word and alive in you when you have the Holy Ghost giving you the revelation of Christ.
In other words The Word is Jesus Christ brought alive to us through The Scriptures by the Revelation of The Holy Ghost.
It therefore means that you can only know Christ Through The Scriptures by the revelation of The Holy Ghost.
Revelation is Christ Revealed.
