Rev 2:4 KJV Nevertheless I have somewhat against thee because thou hast left thy first love.
Love should transcend beyond all possible situations or circumstances.
It would benefit nothing if like the Church in Ephesus, we labor for God, or like Paul says in 1 Corinthians 13, that we speak in tongues, yet we forsake the first love.
God is love, and He commands us to love one another to the extent that it becomes a form of evangelism. John 13:35
