Lamentations 3:27 It is good for a man to bear. The yoke in his youth.

It is good to bear the yoke of following Christ. To love God, your neighbor as yourself and to flee youthful lusts. It is painful, bearing the cross but often purifies our faith, glorifies God, and polishes our character.

You will suffer condemnation, reproach, and persecution for choosing to follow Christ. Bear the yoke and run the full race set before you. Even Christ, whom we follow was persecuted and spat on for choosing to live a blameless life.

2 Timothy 3:12 Yes, and all who desire to live godly in Christ Jesus will suffer persecution.

We must learn to endure persecutions for Christ’s sake. As God is in the business of raising you, you’ll have to bear the yoke of your calling. Struggles often produce humility so that we don’t fall into dishonor on elevation.
