Pro 15:22 KJV Without counsel purposes are disappointed: but in the multitude of counselors, they are established.
Pro 20:18 KJV Every purpose is established by counsel: and with good advice make war.
After understanding that we are here to accomplish God’s purpose, it is important to run with a purpose or vision with counsel.
Two types of counsel:-
- Divine Counsel.
This is a God-ordained counsel meant to bring you to your desired end through the Holy Ghost
Romans 8:14 says that the Spirit of God leads us. His leading is by showing direction and counsel.
Prov 19:21 in KJV says that it is His counsel that prevails.
Without divine counsel, you cannot have divine direction hence you lack divine encounters and helpers to achieve your God-ordained purpose or destiny.
