Cup of Wisdom (Flesh)-15 November 2021

1Jn 2:16 KJV For all that is in the world, the lust of the flesh, and the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life, is not of the Father but is of the world.

The lust of the flesh is one of the things we need to overcome.

Paul says put your flesh unto subjection (1Cor 9:27) because, unlike the Spirit man who strives to do God’s will, the flesh strives to do the will of the world (1John 2:17)

Paul tells us in Romans 8:2-4 that we have overcome, in Christ, the desires of the flesh and moved on to righteousness

The flesh is one of the things we need to overcome if we desire to stand in the callings we have of God.
