Cup of Wisdom (Fight your fight and pray that the spirit wins.)-7 September 2021

Galatians 5:17 For the flesh lusteth against the Spirit, and the Spirit against the flesh: and these are contrary the one to the other: so that ye cannot do the things that ye would.

In every believer’s heart, there is a constant struggle between the old nature and the new.

When the flesh tries to overcome us, grace within us will employ prayer, and faith, and hope to cast out the evil. These two opposing natures will never cease to struggle so long as we are in this world.

Fight your fight and pray that the spirit wins.

Romans 8:13 For if you live according to the flesh you will die, but if by the Spirit you put to death the deeds of the body, you will live.
Romans 8:14 For all who are led by the Spirit of God are sons of God.
